About Us

My husband and I, Bob McCord started Palmetto
Discount Golf to offer an alternative to Hotel and Golf Packages. We actually
play golf on a regular basis and keep up with area news and
conditions. Most packagers don't know the difference between a
pitching wedge and a putter and many of the hotel golf
reservationists have never even seen one of the golf courses they
sell. We are here to offer our guests the best
courses, staying in the best accommodations at the absolute lowest
price. I started out as a cart girl in the early 90's in Myrtle
Beach and worked my
way up the corporate ladder to Golf Sales, Corporate Golf Sales and
then to Director of Operations to a local Golf Packaging Company.
With my many years of experience in the Golf and Vacation Industry,
I decided to open my first company, Palmetto Discount Golf. I want
